HEALING SERVICES

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on modifying dysfunctional emotions, behaviors, and thoughts by challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and developing personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.

EYE MOVEMENT DESENITIZATION AND REPROCESSING

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.

Repeated studies show that by using EMDR therapy, people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference. It is widely assumed that severe emotional pain requires a long time to heal.  EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma.  When you cut your hand, your body works to close the wound.  If a foreign object or repeated injury irritates the wound, it festers and causes pain.  Once the block is removed, healing resumes.  EMDR therapy demonstrates that a similar sequence of events occurs with mental processes. The brain’s information processing system naturally moves toward mental health.  If the system is blocked or imbalanced by the impact of a disturbing event, the emotional wound festers and can cause intense suffering.  Once the block is removed, healing resumes.

Using the detailed protocols and procedures learned in EMDR therapy training sessions, clinicians help clients activate their natural healing processes.

More than 30 positive controlled outcome studies have been done on EMDR therapy.  Some of the studies show that 84%-90% of single-trauma victims no longer have PTSD after only three 90- minute sessions.  Another study, funded by the HMO Kaiser Permanente, found that 100% of the single-trauma victims and 77% of multiple trauma victims no longer were diagnosed with PTSD after only six 50-minute sessions.

In another study, 77% of combat veterans were free of PTSD in 12 sessions. There has been so much research on EMDR therapy that it is now recognized as an effective form of treatment for trauma and other disturbing experiences by organizations such as the American Psychiatric Association, the World Health Organization and the Department of Defense.

Given the worldwide recognition as an effective treatment of trauma, you can easily see how EMDR therapy would be effective in treating the “everyday” memories that are the reason people have low self-esteem, feelings of powerlessness, and all the myriad problems that bring them in for therapy. Over 100,000 clinicians throughout the world use the therapy.  Millions of people have been treated successfully over the past 33 years. EMDR therapy is an eight-phase treatment.  Eye movements (or other bilateral stimulation) are used during one part of the session.  After the clinician has determined which memory to target first, the client is asked to hold different aspects of that event or thought in mind and to use their eyes to track the therapist’s hand as it moves back and forth across the client’s field of vision.  As this happens, for reasons believed by a Harvard researcher to be connected with the biological mechanisms involved in Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep, internal associations arise and the clients begin to process the memory and disturbing feelings.

In successful EMDR therapy, the meaning of painful events is transformed on an emotional level.  For instance, a rape victim shifts from feeling horror and self-disgust to holding the firm belief that, “I survived it and I am strong.”  Unlike talk therapy, the insights clients gain in EMDR therapy result not so much from clinician interpretation, but from the client’s own accelerated intellectual and emotional processes.  The net effect is that clients conclude EMDR therapy feeling empowered by the very experiences that once debased them.  Their wounds have not just closed, they have transformed.

As a natural outcome of the EMDR therapeutic process, the clients’ thoughts, feelings and behavior are all robust indicators of emotional health and resolution—all without speaking in detail or doing homework used in other therapies.

HYPNOSIS

Hypnosis is a therapeutic technique that induces a state of increased concentration and focused attention, often accompanied by deep relaxation. It is used to create a heightened state of suggestibility and receptiveness to positive changes or therapeutic suggestions, aimed at altering perceptions, sensations, emotions, thoughts, or behavior.

RAPID RELIEF FOR PTSD/ANXIETY/PANIC ATTACKS

Rapid Relief for PTSD/Anxiety/Panic Attacks refers to a range of techniques or treatments that aim to quickly reduce the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, or panic attacks. These methods often involve cognitive-behavioral strategies, relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, or other forms of immediate intervention to manage acute distress and stabilize the individual’s emotional state.

CONTACT REFLEX ANALYSIS

Emotional and Physical wellness are deeply connected.  Mind/Body balance occurs when energy in the body is balanced and flowing with ease. When energy is not balanced, symptoms, syndromes, emotional dysregulation and disease can occur.  Nutritional imbalance is often a root cause for multiple issues going on inside the body.  These imbalances directly effect our emotional well-being and can result in various psychological disturbances.  Common examples are depression, anxiety and panic attacks.

PERSONALIZED WELLNESS AND DESIGNED CLINICAL NUTRITION

Contact Reflex Analysis® (CRA) is a technique that analyzes the energy that flows through every organ, gland, and cell in your body.

It allows us to determine what the body needs to restore its energy to normal balance. This leads to the creation of a Personalized Wellness Program, which consists of a combination of designed clinical nutrition (have this link to the supplements page), therapeutic essential oils (have this link to the therapeutic grade oils page)  psychotherapy (have this link to ‘healing modalities’ page), and energy technology. Because no two clients are the same, no one receives the exact same program; everyone’s body is different.

Designed Clinical Nutrition is based on a specific plan, derived from utilizing the CRA technique, for you as an individual.  By accessing information about what your body needs nutritionally, we can raise the nutritional health of your physical body while also utilizing your individualized treatment plan for psychotherapy.  Combining both will allow the body to repair faster and restore mind/body balance to your life.

WHAT IS Contact Reflex Analysis®

Contact Reflex Analysis® (CRA) is a technique which analyzes the flow of energy in your body.  A shift in muscle response indicates dis-ease or imbalances of this subtle energy, providing essential information indicating if there is ‘too much’ or ‘too little’ energy in an area of the body.  This analysis is performed by checking the body’s reflex points.

Our bodies are created with the intelligence to naturally heal.  The goal of CRA is to bring energies back into balance so healing can happen naturally, by relying on the body’s innate knowledge of these balances and imbalances.

CRA is a simple, safe, effective assessment tool for analyzing the body’s entire biofield, including its energy levels, reflexes and meridians, derived from Chinese medicine.  It can quickly determine the individual nutrient needs of any organ, gland, or system.  This provides a priority-based system that quickly determines what your individual body needs to accelerate the healing process both emotionally and physically.

The traditional CRA method uses the muscle testing technique to assess and locate dis-ease—imbalances in subtle energies of your body. The gentle, but firm push is like a question being asked to the body, while the muscle reactivity response indicates the answer. A subtle shift in energy always indicates when an area of imbalance has been found.

What kind of nutritional therapies does a CRA practitioner recommend?

To fully experience the powerful benefits of CRA’s healing energies is greatly dependent on your nutrition.  Only quantum-quality nutrients contain nature’s most potent phytonutrients and complexes, which can keep the body’s bio-matrices healthy, without risks or side effects.

Quantum Quality Nutrients (have this link to the supplements page), are nutritional supplements without any synthetic ingredients or laboratory-created chemical additions and their effects on aiding the mind and body far exceed ordinary supplements.  When we stimulate our body through chemicalized “dead” supplements, improper foods, and toxic medical drugs, we deplete nutrients and electrons needed to protect us from the chaotic and unhealthy conditions of our modern world. These chemicalized supplements (many of them found in health food stores!) stimulate chemical energy in the body, but they deplete quantum energy. Over time, taking chemicalized supplements ages the body faster and increases the stress loads on the detox pathways.

NEURO-EMOTIONAL TECHNIQUE

Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) is a mind-body approach to healthcare that aims to address the relationship between emotional health and physical health. It involves identifying and resolving emotional stressors that may be contributing to physical symptoms or dysfunctional behaviors. NET practitioners use a methodology that combines aspects of traditional Chinese medicine, chiropractic principles, and applied kinesiology to detect and alleviate these stressors, often through specific body adjustments, emotional reflections, and acupressure.

RECONSOLIDATION OF TRAUMATIC MEMORIES

This is to address PTSD, COMPLEX TRAUMA, ANXIETY AND PANIC ATTACKS

Very focused on LEO, FIREFIGHTERS, VETERANS

My story:

In 2015, my step-son, who was a Sgt. In the US Army, took his own life after his deployment to Afghanistan.  This left a life-altering impact on our family.

At that time, I had no information regarding the suicide rates of our military service men and women.  The statistics show those rates to exceed 22 suicides daily.  This was a wake-up call.  This same year I had accepted a contract to work with Law Enforcement and Firefighters in our local community and I learned the suicide rate for first responders was exceeding their on-the-job fatalities.

Then as fate would have it, God graciously opened up the opportunity for me to train in a new ground-breaking therapeutic modality called RTM – Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories.  This began my exploration in NLP-Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnosis, EMDR, CRA, NET and other mind/body/spirit healing modalities that are fast, effective and make lasting changes.

Here are some videos from Research & Recognition Project – they are kinda cheesy but until I can do some of my own, I think they’ll work.
